Beautiful place to enjoy alone or with a group. Pretty unique disc golf course too
They don't enforce the leash law for pets. Dogs roaming all over the place. At swimming area kids came up and took our kids floats away. Another friend of ours had gas stolen from his boat. Trash was tore out of trash cans every night. Trash cans should be secured to trees so the roaming dogs can not turn them over.
Beautiful place and very quiet. Clean shower rooms that are well maintained. Lots of shaded spots with full hookups.
Best campground around. We camp here atleast 3 months a year. Great for kayaking, fishing, skiing, jet skiing, and swimming. The campgrounds have water lots and inland lots. They also have 4 cabins on the lake they rent out. Quitman is the town its located in and they have several boutique shops in the county as well as some good food.
our family goes there often. actually heading there this weekend. Beautiful place. The only thing I would suggest is that they take a little better care of the cabins. Like making sure it has lights, most of them last time were blown out.
